What will we do / Was werden wir machen ?

We want (i) to share our approach to making a “Bokashi” of kitchen residues and (ii) to invite you to film a tutorial about it.

  • Through (lacto-acid) fermentation you can easily preserve, and thus store, peels and pieces of vegetables, fruits etc. in your flat or house. Later, composting follows, for example on your balcony, in your/a garden or as a guerilla action. After some time compost is ready for fertilization of plants and - zack - the circle of nutrients is closed. In this workshop, we want to share with you one approach on how to conserve and prepare your kitchen residues for further composting which we personally tried and tested.
  • Not enough? In order to boost knowledge sharing on this topic, we also want to film this workshop to create a tutorial that can be shared with a larger community. We want to publish the tutorial on she* fix tutorials Youtube channel. So we invite you to come to our workshop to listen, watch, discuss, or participate in film making - there is space and a role for everyone * !
The composting workshop itself takes 1 hour. If you want to be involved in the filming, you need to meet with us 1 hour earlier so that we can coordinate the tasks and plan the shots during the workshop. The filming group should be a maximum of 4 people. We will provide the equipment needed.

We will need access to electricity, ideally with several sockets to charge the batteries and lights. A table would be useful and a whiteboard or large paper block to write steps. The composting workshop is about an hour, but the people interested in filming need to be there an hour before to coordinate.
